# Connecting Sunshine Conversations

[Sunshine Conversations](https://smooch.io/) (formerly Smooch) is multi-channel messaging made simple.

HelpDocs integrates with Sunshine Conversations to make it really easy for your customers to reach you.

### Connecting HelpDocs & Sunshine conversations

1. In your [Sunshine conversions](https://app.smooch.io/) dashboard
   
   1. Select your app
   2. Select the **Settings** tab
   3. Find your **ID** and click **Copy** to copy it to your clipboard
2. In your HelpDocs dashboard
   
   1. Go to **Settings** > **Integrations** > **Smooch**
   2. Click **☰ More** > **Connect**
   3. Paste your **ID** into the **Smooch App Token** box
   4. Hit **Save**

Now when your users use the Contact button on your HelpDocs they'll see the Sunshine conversations Widget appear instead of the email contact form.
