# Connecting Gorgias

[Gorgias](https://gorgias.io/) helps you communicate with your customers from multiple channels. With rich context for every customer you can provide top-class support.

HelpDocs integrates with Gorgias to make it easy for customers to get in touch on your knowledge base.

### Connecting Gorgias Chat

1. In your **Gorgias dashboard**
   
   1. Head to **Integrations** > **Chat**
   2. Click **Add Chat** or click on an existing chat
   3. Head to **Installation**
   4. Copy the **JavaScript** code snippet
2. In your **HelpDocs dashboard**
   
   1. Head to **Settings** > [Integrations](https://my.helpdocs.io/app/settings?tab=integrations)
   2. Find **Gorgias**
   3. Click ☰ **More** > **Connect**
   4. Paste the JavaScript code snippet into the **Chat Snippet** box
   5. Remove the `async` keyword from the Gorgias code snippet
   6. Hit **Save Changes**
