The problem comes when you need to support them in *their* language. If you're not a linguist this becomes a lot of work. With our automatic machine translations, you can send an article off to be translated and get back an accurate translation in seconds. This saves having to get a third party involved and you can delay picking up that language dictionary a little longer 🤫 Machine translations are only available on some of [our plans.](https://helpdocs.io/pricing) 🌐 Supported language list We use Google's Neural Machine Translation service to give you the best possible quality. Make sure your article is in a [secondary language](/article/NjjPixGLuy-translating-your-docs) 2. Click the **Machine translation** button in the top bar 3. Review your translation credit total (each article translation uses 1 credit) and click **Translate into language** 4. You're done! 🤯 Machine translated articles' status will automatically be set to ![Green checkmark icon](https://files.helpdocs.io/Ytt2uahFxY/articles/h7v4sf98br/1759924721244/complete-icon.svg)`Complete` ### Bulk Translate a Single Article [Embedded iframe](https://demo.arcade.software/l9i9BpjTRfFeEhqMOkjX?embed&embed_mobile=tab&embed_desktop=inline&show_copy_link=true) 1. Head to **the article you want to translate** 2. Click the **Machine translation** button in the top bar 3. You'll see all available languages with their current translation status 4. Select the languages you'd like to translate into, or click **Select all** 5. Click **Confirm translation** 6. You'll get a confirmation for each successfully translated language Translation status shows whether each language is current, outdated, or hasn't been translated yet ### Bulk Translating Multiple Articles 1. Select articles with the checkboxes 2. Click [**Bulk edit x**](/article/jyd570o8vo-bulk-edit-status-author-and-stale-status-for-multiple-articles) button in the top right 3. Click **Actions** in the side modal 4. Click **Translate** [Embedded iframe](https://demo.arcade.software/m1Z7WVHNj9WRIGG12YCQ?embed&embed_mobile=tab&embed_desktop=inline&show_copy_link=true) Only articles that are not already translated or have out of date translations will be selected for translation We also give you a free translation for your category title 🎁 ### Limitations - **Translation count** We'd love to offer unlimited translations but this awesome stuff costs us. Get in touch if you need more translations ✨ - **Accuracy** We do our best and employ the latest technology built by Google but we can't guarantee the content you get back will be 100% accurate - **HTML complexity** If your article's *really complicated* with lots of HTML elements we may struggle to translate it for you. The most common offender here is massive tables. If you encounter this you can split your large elements into smaller ones before translation 🕵️‍♀️ - **Article length** We can generally translate articles up to our recommended max length of 2000 words ✍️ - **Available Languages** We support a lotta languages but not *every* language
