# Generating Meta Information with AI

Writing meta descriptions, short versions, and tags for Knowledge Base articles takes time.

### Available Fields for AI Generation

### How to Generate Meta Information

You can generate meta information for your articles in two ways: individually or in bulk.

#### Generate for Individual Articles

1. Head to your article
2. Locate the meta sidebar on the right side of your screen by clicking the ![Pencil icon](https://files.helpdocs.io/Ytt2uahFxY/articles/wf42h20zxr/1779805391269/pencil-icon.svg) meta button
3. Find the field you want to generate (description, short version, or tags)
4. Click the pink sparkle ✨ icon next to the field
5. Wait a moment while AI generates the content
6. Review and edit the generated content if needed

#### Generate for Multiple Articles

1. Head to **Content**
2. Select the articles you want to update using the checkboxes
3. Click the **Bulk Edit** button
4. Choose:
   
   1. which meta fields to generate (description, short version, or tags)
   2. whether to overwrite existing metadata
5. Let AI work its magic across all selected articles
6. Review the generated content for each article as needed
