Connecting Plausible Analytics

Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics platform that lets you dive deeper into the activities users are taking on HelpDocs.

HelpDocs integrates with Plausible to make it easy for you to work out how customers are behaving on your Knowledge Base, in a secure and privacy-compliant way.
Connecting Plausible
- In your Plausible dashboard
- Find the existing Plausible site you'd like to send HelpDocs data to, or create a new one to keep the data separate
- Copy the domain (e.g. yourdomain.com or docs.yourdomain.com)
- Optional: add your HelpDocs to the "allow list" of domains in Plausible if you have one set up
- In your HelpDocs dashboard
- Head to Settings > Integrations > Analytics
- Next to Plausible Analytics click ⋮ More > Connect
- Paste the domain you copied earlierIf you're using Plausible's rollup feature, you can add a comma-separated list in the domains field. e.g.
docs.yourdomain.com,rollup.anotherdomain.com
- Hit Save Changes
