Switching the Editor Mode

Jake Peters Updated by Jake Peters

When writing articles in HelpDocs, you can choose whether to write in What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) or HTML. By default, articles will start in the WYSIWYG mode.

Changing the editor mode

  1. Click the code button (</>) in the top right of the editor
  2. Select WYSIWYG or HTML
We recommend saving any changes before switching modes to avoid any chance of losing work.

Prettifying in HTML mode

We all love pretty code, right? With a click of a button, you can make your HTML look awesome.

  1. Make sure you're in HTML mode
  2. Click Prettify in the lower left hand corner
