HelpDocs AI helps you create and manage your Knowledge Base content more efficiently. You can customize various AI features and provide company context to ensure the AI understands your specific needs.

You'll need a certain role to configure these settings.

Enabling HelpDocs AI

  1. Head to Settings > AI
  2. Navigate to the Configuration section
  3. Check Enable AI Tools

Customizing AI Features

HelpDocs AI offers several powerful features you can enable or disable based on your team's needs:

Setting Up Company Information

Boost HelpDocs AI to better understand your business context by adding company information. This information helps HelpDocs AI generate more relevant and accurate content for your Knowledge Base.

Keep your company description focused on your core business activities and value proposition for best results.
  1. Head to Settings > AI
  2. Go to Configuration
  3. Locate the Company Information section
  4. Enter a clear concise description of what your company does

Configuring AI Style

AI Style helps you maintain consistent voice and tone across your Knowledge Base content.

By setting up style preferences, you can ensure all AI-generated content matches your brand voice—whether that's professional, casual, or somewhere in between.

This feature is available on certain plans.
  1. Head to Settings > AI
  2. Navigate to the Style section
Best practices for setting up your style
- Use bullet points to separate different style requirements
- Specify your preferred tone, like casual, informative or professional
- Include specific writing requirements like company name formatting or terminology preferences
- Add examples to illustrate your preferences

Enforcing Team Style
