Understanding Machine Translation Credits
For each machine translation you'll use one credit. But how do you know how many you have and how can your purchase more? Find out here.

Depending on which plan you choose you'll get a certain number of machine translation credits. These renew each month 📆
One credit will be used each time you use the Machine Translations feature to translate one article into one language. If you're translating one article into e.g. three languages that'll use 3 of your credits.
Finding Your Machine Translation Credit Count
You can find how many credits you have remaining in a few different ways:
- When translating an article a popup will appear showing how many translation credits you have remaining
- Under Settings > Language > Machine Translations you'll find Total Translations Remaining
Purchasing Extra Machine Translation Credits
You can purchase additional one-off machine translation credits that do not expire. Extra machine translation credits are sold in packs of 100 and you can check the price of these on our pricing page.
- Head to Settings > Billing
- Scroll down to Machine Translations and click Buy more credits
- You'll be taken to the Billing portal
- Select how many Machine Translations you'd like to purchase by clicking on Qty: 100
- Fill in your card details and click Pay
- Neat! You've topped up your balance will non-expiring credits 🦾
