Saving Stats Views
Save your Stats dates and filters as a view, share it with your team, and open the same report again in one click.
Table of Contents
If you check the same report every week, setting up the filters each time gets old fast. A saved view keeps your dates and filters together, so you can open the same report again in one click.
You can keep views to yourself, or share them with your team so everyone looks at the same numbers.
Working With Views
Pick the tab for what you want to do with a view.
- Head to Stats
- Set your dates and filters
- Click Views in the Stats header
- Click Save current view
- Give your view a name
- Tick Share with the team if everyone should see it
- Click Save view
- Head to Stats
- Click Views
- Pick a view from the Team or Only you list
- The Views button now shows the name of the view you're on. A view remembers your filters, not your tab, so you can switch between tabs and stay on the same view.
- Click Views
- Click Update next to the name of the view you want to overwrite with your changes
- Want to keep the original? Click Save current view instead and give the new version its own name.
To stop using a view without deleting it:
- Click Views
- then click Clear view
- Your saved view stays in the list.
To delete a view:
- Click Views
- Hover over the view and click the trash icon
- Click Delete to confirm
Dates Move With the Calendar
When you pick Last X days in the filters, your view saves that as a rolling window. A view set to the last 30 days always shows the 30 days ending yesterday, whichever day you open it.
If you want a fixed window, like a launch week or last quarter, choose Specific dates instead. Those dates stay put.
Who Can Do What
Action | Who can do it |
Save, update and delete your own views | Anyone who can see Stats |
Share a view with the team | Owners and admins |
Update or delete a team view | Owners and admins |
See someone else's personal views | Nobody. Personal views stay with the person who saved them. |
Team views stay around when the person who made them leaves your account, so nobody loses a report everyone relies on. Good reports deserve to stick around. π
